Privacy

This page describes the current site. It will change when the site’s data handling changes.

No account required

This site does not provide sign-in, payments, a user database, or a correction submission form. Do not send us Roblox passwords, cookies, or account credentials.

Browser storage

Your Daylight or Moonlight preference is saved on this device in local storage (scrooms-theme). It is not sent to a server. Use the theme button to change it, or clear this site’s browser data to reset it. If storage is unavailable, theme switching still works for the current visit. The design preview does not save its demo settings.

Collection IDs are stored locally under scrooms-field-guide:collection:v1, with a schema version and update time. They are not synced with Roblox or a server. The Scroomdex provides JSON export and a confirmed Clear collection action. Older IDs stay in your export but do not count toward current progress. If storage is unavailable, changes stay in memory for the visit. Unreadable saved data is kept until you explicitly choose to clear it.

Your Chimes balance and budget inputs stay in the page’s memory and are reset on reload. They are never included in search URLs, collection backups or analytics. Search terms are included in the search URL so the results work without JavaScript and can be bookmarked.

External services

The live site at scroomdex.com uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and page usage. It loads Google’s tag from googletagmanager.com and sends measurement data to Google. Google Analytics may use cookies and collect page addresses, browser and device information, and usage events. Search terms in page URLs may be included in this data. Do not put private information into the site search.

We do not attach your collection records, Chimes balance or budget inputs to analytics events. These values remain on your device as described above. Analytics is disabled in local development and preview environments. No advertising, chat widgets, remote fonts or embedded videos are loaded.

You can restrict cookies or block the Google tag through your browser settings. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for Google’s privacy controls.

The hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses, request paths, and technical logs, to serve and secure the site. Links to external sites follow those sites’ own privacy practices.
