Sanctum Magus: the gate song and archive collection

Use the recorded Song of Passage route, understand the eight-versus-five roster gap, and keep unknown catches and spelling differences visible.

Source-reviewed notes. Not independently play-tested. Reports describe their recorded version; follow the current game prompts when they differ.

Before you begin

  • Unlock the Ocarina and finish The Scratched Score.
  • Confirm Song of Passage appears in your own Known Songs menu.

Area notes: Sanctum Magus

Learn the gate song first

Finish The Scratched Score, including its return to the wall. Owning an Ocarina alone does not establish that Song of Passage is learned.

Follow the recorded sigil route

In Dimstra’s Sorin session, the player opens a gate after the song unlock at 27:34–28:16, then climbs to another door at 29:00 and reaches Sanctum Magus around 30:43. Select Song of Passage and follow the notes shown in your current Known Songs menu at the sigil-marked door.

The official Open Sesame objective independently confirms opening a gate with this song. It does not certify a keyboard sequence or exact coordinates. The captions garble the note sequence, so no universal keymap is transcribed here. The earlier Dynamite wall is a different obstacle.

Read the eight-row directory as a partial source record

Wiki Index revision 563 groups eight names under Sanctum. The secondary roster lists five and leaves Glimwick, Regalith and Vex unplaced. The original recorded game Index at 10:25 visibly shows all eight Wiki-grouped names, corroborating that dated grouping. This does not prove the current full roster or erase the secondary directory’s omissions.

Scholaroom, Inkling, Sigilith and The Violet Fool have exact-name secondary rarity reports. The original selected Index panel explicitly reads Occulot, Rare, and 420–700 Hz, with the same red wizard portrait as the other directory. We now display Occulot; Wiki Occult remains an attributed search variant on the same stable record. This is an editorial correspondence, not evidence of an official rename. Its individual catch route is still under review.

Confirm each capture in the live Index

Use the current area tab and catch result to identify the species. A recorded frequency window is not a spawn location or a catch probability. Specific catching routes, weather requirements and remaining rarity fields stay unknown; these partial entries have no published detail page.

The Archivist badge names the completion goal without fixing the roster count. Check your live Index rather than treating this website’s eight rows as 100% completion.

For the next travel stage, read Tall Trees progression. The Magus/Magnus instrument spelling dispute remains separate from the area name.
