How to find / catch

From the Tall Trees starting approach, follow the lower orange clearing to the Bugkin-labelled playing spot beside the large tree. Play an equipped instrument inside that spot, complete the live catch prompts, and check that the result is Bugkin.[1]

12:05–12:27 in the 13 October recording. Reported location, not an independent playtest, guaranteed catch, measured chance or proof of an exclusive spawn. See the Tall Trees progression guide for route order.
